THE ACTOR

He cracks up a joke, Puts up a smile, Listens to their problems, Calms them down. He goes back home, Looks into the mirror, "What a day!" he says, "Perfect performance" he exclaims ! The smile withers away as if, They were glasses over his face. He then picks up a frame, With a black and white photo, His wife, With a mischievous smile, The only soul who asked, How "he" was, Now lost in that infinite sky, Twinkling brightest to make him say, "Darling Hi" !! ©onerandompoet

Happy New Year 2018

This year I wish, You save water, Switch off the lights when not needed, To burn less coal per quarter. I hope you'll not throw the chips packet  Out of the bus or car, Instead take it home throw it in a dustbin, And put a coin in the jar. Year end, The amount you collect, Will show how many times you were perfect. So I call upon you, The children of Mother Earth, Let us do our bit this year, And make happy our Mother Earth, Because if Mother is happy,  So will be her children. And on that note, I wish you all a HAPPY  NEW YEAR.
